Photography Black And White Models
If upon seeing a subject, you know it's got to be a black and white photo, then you could set your camera to B &W and take the picture. But once you get experience with using your photo editing software, you'll find that you can create even better images by shooting in color first and then desaturating it in the editor. Another added benefit to this method is that you'll never accidentally take a day's worth of pictures in black and white because you forgot to reset the camera!
Shooting black and white photos can be simple and easy if you follow a few straightforward guidelines. Producing photographs that sport only black, white and greys does not have to be difficult if you observe the attributes that make a black and white photo extraordinary. Remember that what may look great as a color photo may not look that great as a black and white photo, while some pictures look fabulous in black and white while not that great in color. Finding the balance can be difficult to master, but it is easy to learn how to shoot that great photo which will exemplify your talents.
No director of glamour photography models need be given a list of reasons why a head is invaluable in a picture. Some directors do, however, welcome ideas on how to bring the model's best face forward - whether it is one of beauty, character and/or expression.
Many models feel they have exhausted the possibilities for different head positions when they have turned their head slowly from the left of the camera to the right of the camera! This can be most exasperating to a director (especially if you believe that you get the fullest creative contribution from a model by allowing her to move freely instead of placing her). Try a suggestion that will take her into several other positions from which you might select a pose.
